The STEELMAN Mini EngineEAR is a unique diagnostic listening device designed specifically to pinpoint squeaks, rattles, and other troublesome noises in faulty fuel injectors, bearings, gears, suspension components, transmissions, and differential/CV joints. It features a sensor clamp that helps detect noises during test drives that cannot be duplicated in the work bay. The sensor tip is mounted on a 6-inch flexible shaft, allowing access to hard-to-reach areas. An inductive metal probe measuring 5 inches allows the user to pinpoint the source of noise and vibration. The ultra-sensitive microphone provides a full range of sound, and a rotary volume control allows the user to easily adjust the sound level. The earbud-style earphones provide excellent sound quality.
