EngineEAR II Auto Diagnostics Combination Kit

The EngineEAR II with decibel meter, included in the STEELMAN ChassisEAR or EngineEAR Combination Kit, serves as an electronic stethoscope for detecting squeaks and rattles. This kit features the EngineEAR II electronic stethoscope with decibel unit and the ChassisEAR technology.

With the STEELMAN ChassisEAR, users can listen to up to six different locations during a road test, allowing them to hear noises that may not be replicable in a stationary environment. The professional headphones provided with the kit effectively block out surrounding sounds, enhancing the user's ability to detect problematic sounds.

The kit includes six color-coded, highly sensitive microphone clamps that can be easily attached to various parts of the vehicle using the 16-foot wire leads. These microphone clamps can be secured to springs, torque rods, shocks, body mounts, brakes, dash assembly, door hinges, drive train components, axles, transmission, suspension components, and more. This allows users to pinpoint the source of the noise accurately and efficiently.

The EngineEAR II electronic stethoscope also features a decibel meter with seven sound level control settings, ranging from 60 dB to 120 dB. This enables users to adjust the sensitivity of the stethoscope based on the noise level they are trying to detect. Additionally, the stethoscope can be used under the hood and along windows, providing flexibility in detecting noises in various areas of the vehicle.
